After a couple buildout delays, Iron Chef America contender (and soon-to-be empire-builder) Patrick Lee Warner debuted his downtown lunch counter, Scratch Cafeteria, this morning. The breakfast and lunch menu features seasonal fresh-pressed juices, comfort-food dishes like meatloaf and mac-and-cheese, and most notably, a "Living Salad Bar" in the form of full hydroponic garden currently growing spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, kale, chard, chives, parsley, and edible flowers. Regular hours will be Monday-Friday, 6am to 3pm.
