Donuts (or doughnuts, if you prefer) are totally having a moment, you guys: Over the past week, both the Oregonian and Portland Monthly have dropped lists comparing and naming the town's best deep-fried dough. The O pits four competitors against "Voodoo's doughnut dominance" without naming a clear winner (though Sesame's namesake offering is dubbed "supreme"). Over at PoMo's Eat Beat blog, meanwhile, Voodoo Doughnuts clocks in at #7 on their "Quest for the Quintessential Donut" list, with Alberta's Tonalli's Donuts declared "the best damn donuts in the world."
