Nat'l Selection's Open House, SE's Beer-Pouring Bar Crawl, Upright's Anniversary

In today's lunchtime EaterWire, beat those mid-week doldrums with a few events to add to your calendar:

ALBERTA: Aaron Woo's all-vegetarian Natural Selection is set to soft-open tonight, with a neighborhood "Open House" from 6-9pm tonight (Wednesday), featuring bites and wine pours. Natural Selection officially opens for dinner tomorrow.

NORTHEAST: Upright Brewing celebrates its second anniversary this Sunday (March 20) with a party featuring the release of two rare house brews: the "Four Play," a cherry wheat beer aged in Pinot Noir barrels, and the last remaining kegs of last year's apricot anniversary ales, aged in gin barrels. The party runs from 1-6pm at Upright's Leftbank Project tasting room.

SOUTHEAST: This Saturday (March 19), Brewpublic and TapLister sponsor the second annual Division Street pub crawl, where more then 25 brewers from around Oregon hang out to pour their wares at each stop along the route: Victory Bar, Bar Avignon, Lompoc's Hedgehouse, Beermongers bottle shop, and Blitz Ladd. $12 gets guest access to the event and 10 tasting tokens (among the participating breweries: Double Mountain, Oakshire, Ninkasi, and Fort George).
