Pinots in the Pearl is moving up...er..downtown with a new name and a new venue. Now called Mountains to Metro this annual winery event, presented by the Chehalem Mountains Winegrowers (CMW) will take place Friday, May 6 in the spacious Governor Hotel from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The tasting features wines from the 100 square mile viticultural area of Parrett Mountain to Ribbon Ridge and spotlights local restaurants including Jakes Grill, Davis Street Tavern, Thirst Wine Bar and Bistro and Aquariva Italian Grill.
Participating winemakers will share Pinot Noirs, as well as Chardonnays, Pinot Gris, Syrah and Riesling from, among others, Adelsheim Vineyard, Anne Amie Vineyards, Archery Summit, Artisanal Wine Cellars, Cooper Mountain Vineyards, Dion Vineyard, Ponzi Vineyards, RR Wines, Raptor Ridge Winery and Vidon Vineyards.
