Hot off its recent opening, NE Killingworth's French-meets-Northwest bistro Cocotte has started its weekend brunch service. Though options change weekly, some samples from a recent menu: a "breakfast board" featuring soft-poached egg, charcuterie, fruit, toast, and pickles; hash with halibut, root veggies and hollandaise; steak & eggs with buffalo tri-tip, and an oeufs cocotte with pancetta and spinach. Brunch service starts at 10:30am on Saturday and Sundays, and a "Brunch Window" dishes take-out-only options (like veggie hash and croque monsuier) for the super, super hungover. [EaterWire]
