The Oregonian had a reporter on-scene this afternoon as former Greek Cucina owner Ted Papas led a march on city hall to protest the forced closure of his 36-year-old downtown (and octopus-draped) institution. Papas is now filing a $13 million lawsuit against the city, contending that his colorful history with City Commissioner Randy Leonard led to an unfair crackdown on his property. At the protest this afternoon, Papas told the media: "We are marching today because the Greek Cucina may be gone, but it is not forgotten." [OregonLive]
