Nostrana's After-Hours Negroni Social: Win Tickets Here!

As those who scored tickets to Nostrana's fifth anniversary celebration could tell you, chef/owner (and recent JBA nominee) Cathy Whims knows how to party. Next Friday, Whims, wine director Nicholas Suhor, and bar manager Doug Derrick are hosting the first-annual Negroni Social, an after-hours, invitation-only event featuring all 12 of Nostrana's Negronis of the Month. A "Match After Midnight" throwdown will pit in-house Negroni makers Derrick and Taylor Gehrts against Clyde Common's New York Times-famous Jeffrey Morgenthaler. (The back-and-forth barbs are already being thrown down on Twitter.)

Booze aside, the evening also acts as a benefit for Outside In, an organization that provides health services and resources to homeless and marginalized youth. And though invitations to the lucky few are currently being distributed to guests in paper form, Eater has five pairs (pairs!) of tickets available for a few lucky readers. Just send us an email with the phrase "Nostrana Negroni Social" in the subject line. We'll select five winners at random next Wednesday (March 30).
