More good news for those flirting with cirrhosis (kidding! we kid.): PDX's Cocktail Camp 2011 is scheduled to take over the Pearl's Gerding Theater (aka the Armory) on Sunday, April 10, with a day-long itinerary of tasting panels, social hours, and seminars featuring concoctions from the likes of Bull Run Distillery, House Spirits, Stone Barn Brandy Works, and Upright Brewing, among others.
The educational component features panel discussions about everything from New American whiskey to developing a palate for spirits to planning a cocktail party, lead by bartenders-about-town from Beaker & Flask, Metrovino, h50 Bistro, and St. Jack, among others. Meanwhile, San Francisco visitors Jennifer Colliau (Small Hand Foods, Slanted Door) and Columbine Quillen (10 Below) close the event with a panel about DIY sodas, syrups, and bitters.
Tickets are available at the official site; purchase them before April 1 for $10 off admission price.
