Though previous reports of its demise turned out to be greatly exaggerated, FoodDude confirms that downtown's 450-seat brunch-and-live-jazz joint Brasserie Montmarte has been sold to new owners, and is currently closed "for remodel." According to a statement obtained by the Dude, former owners Matt and Sara Maletis sold the business to an LCC operating under the name "Three French Americanos," and notes that the concept/business at the Brasserie should operate "business as usual" when it re-opens.
And according to this Craigslist ad, it looks like the new owners have cleaned house: The want ad cites that "All Staff [are] Needed" for the restaurant re-opening, including "bartenders, servers, host, line cooks, dishwashers." (An anonymous commenter on this here site claims that they're revamping with a "new top-secret chef," so if you know the goods, spill 'em.) According to the Craigslist post, "Brasserie on Park" is scheduled to re-open in late April.
