NORTHEAST: Chef John Taboada will partner with Burgundy-based Domaine Guillot-Broux for a five-course pairing dinner at Navarre on Thursday, March 10. Reservations required (for $75/person), preferably done through email.
SOUTHEAST: Portobello Vegan Trattoria pairs with Ninkasi for a $49, five-course beer dinner (also on March 10), featuring courses like chef Aaron Adams' fig pizza (paired with Ninkasi's Believer Double Ale); cavatelli pasta in citrus/tomato broth (with Total Domination IPA); and a chocolate caramel torte served up with Oatis ice cream.
PEARL DISTRICT: Apolloni Vineyards visits the Pearl's Vino Paradiso on Sunday, March 13 for one of its recurring Pinot & Pasta dinners: Chef Paul Losch will cook up four courses (including two of handmade pasta) to pair with Apolloni's '09 Pinot Blanc, just-released '09 Pinot Grigio, and '08 Laurine Pinot Noir (which has been unavailable in Oregon until now). The $50 reservation is inclusive of dinner and five glasses of wine.
