As you may have heard, the annual Taste of the Nation charity event is scheduled to visit Portland on May 2, with more than 50 restaurants, 20 wineries, and 10 breweries lined up for your face-stuffing pleasure, all to raise money and awareness about childhood hunger in America.
In addition to revealing the list of actual offered bites today (Smoked meatloaf and mashed potatoes from Screen Door! Rockfish crudo with yuzu foam from Fratelli! Pastrami pork tongue from Wildwood!), the event organizers at Share Our Strength have graciously offered Eater readers the chance to win a pair of General Admission tickets to the event (worth $170). Just send us an e-mail with "Taste of the Nation" in the subject head. Next Thursday morning, we'll select a winner at random who will gain entry to the event for themselves plus a guest. If you'd rather not play the odds, tickets are still available on the official website.
