Inside the Pearl's New Sports Bar, Brix Tavern, Open Today

As previously reported, the (cursed?) Olea space welcomes a new tenant in the form of Brix Tavern, a lounge-slash-sports bar catering to the Pearl crowd. Eight flat-screen TVs are smattered throughout the space, in addition to familiar sports-bar amenities like pool tables and dart boards (the bar itself accommodates only eight seats, lending the space a more loungy-restaurant vibe). A wood-fired oven churns out personal-sized pizzas (also available to-go) during seven-days-a-week lunch, happy hour, and dinner service. Brix Tavern officially opens to the public today.
