Another Cha! Cha! Cha! Outpost Slated for Former Pitxi Spot

Looks like the Cha! Cha! Cha! Taqueria family of restaurants — which owns five locations around town, including spots in the Pearl, on SE Hawthorne, and NE Fremont — will add a sixth spot to its roster. Liquor license paperwork reveals that the chain is slated to take over the 750-square-foot N. Lombard space that most recently housed Pitxi restaurant, which closed in early 2011 after nine months in business.

As with all other exclamatory locations, menu is described as "casual family Mexican," with potential hours of operation from 10am-10pm daily. Opening date TBD.
