In honor of Burger Week 2011, Eater National chose five restaurants from across the country with renowned burgers, and asked their beverage directors to tell us what exactly we should be drinking with their respective meat sandwiches. Representing Portland: Little Bird's Andrew Fortgang, who suggests pairing chef Gabriel Rucker's famous Le Pigeon transplant with Double Mountain Brewery's Kölsch (which highlights the "pickly and mustardy notes on the burger"), or the bourbon-y Van Kleef cocktail.
