Mark those calendars for Saturday, May 14, because Northeast's Bison Building will be overflowing with wine. The annual Portland Indie Wine & Food Festival, like the millions of booze fests that dot the PDX calendar, is dedicated to craft (read: super small-batch) winemaking, and for its lucky seventh year, the festival is throwing a "Greatest Hits" party of sorts, inviting back 30 auspicious alumni to pour alongside 14 newly selected wineries.
The complete list of wineries (selected via a blind jury) can be found here, and to help with the festival's "Food Trends" theme, at least a dozen Portland restaurants are on board, including St. Jack, the Country Cat, Metrovino, Biwa, Clyde Common, Beaker & Flask, Irving Street Kitchen, Ned Ludd, and Simpatica Catering. Tickets to the event (which is all-you-can-eat-and-drink, by the way) are now available on the official website.
