ALAMEDA/BEAUMONT: The Zukin reports that Buffalo wing shack Fire on the Mountain, which already has locations on E. Burnside and N. Interstate, has signed a lease on NE Fremont to open its third branch, rumored to be a brewpub. Evidence: A Craigslist ad that cites FOTM as a tenant in the former R&R Market building. [PF.org]

NORTHWEST: Signage at a spot that most recently housed the Nook Cafe on NW 23rd advertises the opening of LeLa Bistro, a Vietnamese sandwich shop. No opening date set other than the vague "coming soon." [EaterWire]
