Today in total randomness: Food Carts Portland reports via the Twitterverse that a food truck representing the state of Wyoming has parked itself downtown in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Per the Wyoming tourism board, the "ROAM FREE" truck will be parked from May 20-22 and offer PDXers free samples of the state's signature dishes, including "bison sliders produced from animals raised on the Durham Ranch in northeast Wyoming." The cart represents just one part of a Wyoming Office of Tourism campaign to foster local interest in the region; also coming soon to Portland: Roping contests. [Twitter]
