Over the long weekend, the Oregonian's Michael Russell broke the major (and unfortunate) news that Hiro Ikegaya's eponymous sushi restaurant, Hiroshi, will shutter for good at the end of service today (Tuesday). Ikegaya opened the upscale sushi spot in the Pearl in February 2007 after nearly two decades of toiling in Lake Oswego, and per the O, Ikegaya will now focus exclusively on his more casual E. Burnside spot Mirakutei, which opened in February of this year. No word yet on how Ikegaya's jump will affect the Mirakutei menu.
