A tentative date has been set for the opening of Trader Vic's tiki bar the Pearl District: Mark those calendars for mid-June. According to a press release, like all Vic's locations, the 6,000-square-foot space will embrace the Polynesian theme with "tribal masks, Tiki carvings, tapa cloth and woven grass wall coverings"... in addition to a cocktail menu featuring "an extensive collection of more than 80 hand-crafted tropical drinks." The food menu's expected to mirror that of other Vic's locations, with some new items and recipes that "take advantage of abundant Pacific Northwest ingredients." More information as the opening date approaches. [EaterWire]
