Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday that Southern boys Walt Alexander, Kevin Atchley, and Brian Snyder opened up their biscuits-and-gravy stand at the Portland Farmer's Market. But five years and two brick-and-mortar locations later, Pine State Biscuits is celebrating a half-decade in existence with a hell of a party. This Saturday (June 11), the Alberta location will throw a Biscuit Birthday Blowout-slash-benefit featuring live bands, a biscuit eating contest, and booze.
A $15 donation to the day-long party includes biscuits, food, and drinks, and a portion of proceeds have been pledged to two charities: Sisters of the Road and Mercy Corps. Get in line now: The event starts at 2pm.
