A Seattle Spot's PDX Tribute

Looks like Seattle's 5 Spot restaurant, which explores "regional American" cuisine by completely revamping its menu every few months, has selected a theme closer to home (and perhaps less controversial than its just-retired "Tornado Alley" menu). Starting tomorrow, the restaurant will celebrate Portland's "little peccadilloes" (...WTF?) with menu items like a "jalapeno waffle with bacon jam and Pine State fried chicken, served with a biscuit and sausage gravy." The restaurant famously amps up the kitsch decor with each theme — wonder what they'll use to represent PDX? [Seattle Weekly]
