VooDoo Doughnuts' New Neon Sign Hits the Streets

VooDoo Doughnuts is getting ever closer to re-opening its newly-expanded downtown location. That is if its new very-VooDoo-ish sign, complete with pretzel-stick-night-light, is any indication. A few days ago this Vegas-meets-PDX neon number was raised high above the corner of SW Third Avenue and Ankeny Street. VooDoo originally said it would only be closed a month and it looked like it would be open in time for the tourist-friendly Rose Festival. But a quick look at VooDoo's website indicates that it will open sometime in June with a vague "date to be determined."
