After leaving his longtime post as chef of downtown bistro Carafe, Pascal Sauton has announced that he'll head up a series of cooking classes at downtown's KitchenCru space beginning this Saturday. Sauton's "Summer Cooking Series" will highlight market-fresh produce in order to teach participants to cook "not from a recipe, but from the inspiration of the product"; each three-hour long, $75 class includes instruction, lunch, and some summer-appropriate wine pairings.
