Burger impresario Micah Camden — whose Pearl District burger joint Little Big Burger still has Shake Shack-like lines around the block — is set to debut his second location, on N. Mississippi, literally within the next 48 hours. And compared to the flagship location, LBBMiss is downright spacious, boasting an expanded waiting area, five four-tops, a 14-seat bar, and a 14-seat outdoor patio area, set to open whenever summer feels like arriving. In addition to the standard six-item menu (burger with or without cheese, truffle fries, shakes), LBBM will also feature (literally) 30 beers available by the can.
Camden and co-owner Katie Poppe are promising a splashy opening that will see the new shop doling out free burgers to customers on its first day. Eater will be sure to announce when that happens (safe bet is sometime within the next two days); keep an eye out on LBB's official Twitter for the official head's up.
UPDATE: According to Poppe, LBB will open tomorrow (Tuesday) serving free burgers from 4-9pm (limit one per person, veggie unavailable). Regular hours (11am-10pm, seven days/week) start Wednesday.
