DOWNTOWN: Hot on the heels of the state of Wyoming's roving food truck (and in further proof that food trucks lose their charm when they go corporate), Macy's is launching a summer food truck tour dubbed "Chefs A-Go-Go" (ugh) that will bring the likes of Tom Douglas, Todd English, and Marcus Samuelsson to the people of America. A stop at the Portland Farmers Market is on the schedule, but no word yet on the exact date or guest chef. [-EN-]

NORTHEAST: Sustainable seafood proponents Brian Landry (newly named chef of Bamboo Sushi NW) and Bryan Szeliga (of Albertina's Restaurant) are teaming for a one-off "Wine & Wild Salmon" dinner at Albertina's on June 29. The five-course, $50 dinner will feature dishes like salmon Carpaccio and salmon consommé (all certified-sustainable, natch), and as per usual at the locale, proceeds will benefit the Albertina Kerr Foundation, which works to empower individuals with developmental disabilities. EVERYWHERE: As part of June's monthlong bike fest Pedalpalooza, Food Carts Portland reports that a "cart tour" ride is scheduled for 4:30pm tomorrow (Friday, June 24). The seven-mile ride will visit five pods over the course of 4.5 hours, including Cartopia, NE's Green Castle, Belmont's Good Food Here, SE Division's A La Carte, and the D-Street Noshery. [FCP]
