Is the country's cupcake craze on the wane? Not really, but it may be shrinking — at least where the size of the cupcake is concerned. To appeal to, uh, health-conscious cupcake eaters, many shops have started focusing on mini cupcakes, with the thinking that smaller cakes mean less sugar and carbs.
