The wood-oven advocates behind SE Milwaukie's Tastebud announced today that they will be closing its homey dining room (and awesome patio) for "at least" the month of July. Writes chef/owner Mark Doxtader in an email newsletter: "We will also be taking a hard look at the finances of running our restaurant out of this space and location. The current location has never matched our style, food and personality. We are hoping to be able to focus our business and move it to a more appropriate location, but we have not found an investor yet." Tastebud will continue its Farmer's Market operations throughout the summer and the restaurant space will still be available for private events in July; the last night for the dining room (for now) will be tomorrow, June 30.
