The Hopworks BikeBar cometh: Hopworks Urban Brewery is tentatively set to open its much-anticipated N. Williams outpost — named for its location on the Williams bike corridor — over the weekend. Located in the environmentally conscious ecoFLATS building, the space, designed by Siteworks, features its fair share of sustainable features: table tops, bar tops, and wood paneling are all made from reclaimed materials, and same goes for the reclaimed brick wall in the dining area. As with Hopworks' flagship location on SE Powell, bikes are a major design component — custom-made bicycle frames hang over the main bar area, while clever light fixtures made from growlers (and constructed by PNCA students) also hang from bike frames on the walls. And unsurprisingly, ample bike parking will be available out back, accessible by the alley behind Williams.
