In today's public expression of guy love between TIME food writer Josh Ozersky and the Country Cat's Adam Sappington: On the blog for his upcoming NYC event Meatopia, Ozersky reports that an email from Sappington — about Scrapple — "is almost Lovecraftian in its obsession and unwholesomeness; which makes me love it all the more. I might have it embroidered on a pillow, or set in cursive script on a varnished wood plank." Sappington's scheduled to cook at the event, serving up a "crispy pig head stuffed with scrapple on a buttermilk biscuit with Oregon chow-chow." [Meatopia]
