Today in the legal saga surrounding the Tigard-based and exceptionally exclamatory Typhoon! Thai chain: The Oregonian reports that a federal arbitrator has made a ruling on a discrimination claim filed by former employee Sarinya Reabroy, awarding the chef $268,000 in damages and unpaid overtime. Arbitrators, however, rejected the worker's claims that Typhoon! owners Steve and Bo Kline used human trafficking tactics to recruit and bully Thai employees. [OregonLive]
