According to Seattle Met's Nosh Pit blog, Seattle "curd conjuror" Kurt Timmermeister, of the kind-of-a-big-deal Kurtwood Farms on Vashon Island, has announced plans to expand into the Portland market later this summer. Timmermeister's camembert-style Dinah's cheese is expected to debut in PDX markets by August (he'll up production from 300 pieces a week to 500), while a Grana Padano-style cheese dubbed Francesca's will also debut in Portland after it's appropriately aged.
