As promised, Seattle restaurant 5 Spot has launched its Portland-themed menu, and WWeek takes issue with some of the, uh, liberties taken in regards to Portland cuisine — most notably, the amount of bacon: "None on the breakfast menu? None on the dessert menu? That seems an unforgivable oversight." Dishes on the PDX menu include a Cartopia waffle, Colin the hazelnut-stuffed chicken, and a Mary's Club-inspired "strip" steak (get it?) with g-string beans and flannel fries. [WWeek via -ESEA-]
