Over at PortlandFoodandDrink, FoodDude reports that Boyds Coffee will soon shutter two of its Portland-area retail shops, in favor of opening a mobile coffee truck "so our baristas can bring our coffee and espresso to the masses."

According to an official release, Boyds' Pearl and downtown Eliot Tower locations will shutter on July 23, while its Roastery coffee shop on NE Sandy will operate business as usual (and Boyds will continue to be available in local groceries and on local menus). The mobile coffee truck will make appearances "around town and at special events."
