In today's EaterWire, another round-up of pairing dinners and events for your calendar:

NORTHEAST: According to a weekly email blast, the boys behind Laurelhurst Market will throw an outdoor Doobie-Brothers-inspired BBQ on Sunday August 14, from 11am to 10pm. Ribs, sausage sandwiches, and brisket will be available for sale a la carte (as will booze); live music (is there a local Doobie Brothers tribute band?) will also be on-site.

N. WILLIAMS: Lincoln's cooking up some wabbit: On Sunday, August 7, the restaurant will host a rabbit-heavy four-course "NW Collaborative Dinner" that prominently features Lincoln's farm and wine suppliers. Proprietors from Dutcher Farm, Nicky USA, Elk Cove Vineyards, and Lemelson Vineyards will be on-hand to promote their farm-to-table practices. $65 includes four family-style courses (featuring risotto with rabbit ragu, and braised rabbit with tomatoes), hors d'oeuvres, and wine.

DOWNTOWN: The Original Dinerant hosts its second annual "Pig and Pinot" porkfest on Tuesday, August 9, featuring four courses of a whole hog menu paired with local Pinot Noir. Among the menu items: Kalua pork, ham hock succotash, and a bacon-latticed apple pie (served with bacon ice cream, obviously).

CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL: Sonoma, California's Ridge Vineyards visits Clarklewis on Sunday, August 3 for a four-course pairing dinner featuring their 2008 and 2009 Zinfandels. Chef Donal Lane will cook up courses like garganelli with braised duck and grilled lamb with farro and fennel; $85 is all-inclusive of food, wine, and gratuity.
