In honor of Trader Vic's super grand opening on August 1, Mayor Sam Adams has proclaimed August "tiki month" in the city of Portland, and other bars around town are getting in on the action. Teardrop Lounge, El Gaucho, Clyde Common, Gilt Club, the Original, and (obviously) Thatch Tiki Bar will all pay homage with a specialty tiki-inspired cocktail on their menus throughout the month of August.
