Groupon competitor Google Offers just finished a month of testing in Portland, and here comes the breakdown: TechCrunch's analysis of 24 deals from each organization found that Google grossed $129,000 compared with $331,000 for Groupon. Google Offers tended to offer cheaper deals and generally had more restrictions. Example: A deal to Le Bistro Montage was restricted to brunch; a deal for the Sultan Cafe was invalid for lunch.
