According to a report in the Oregonian, the firework-damaged Aviary restaurant will unfortunately be out of commission "for a month or more." After a Fourth of July incident that set the NE Alberta building ablaze, co-chef/owner Sarah Pliner says that the restaurant suffered major damage to its ventilation systems and gas lines. "We had a really great June and we're looking forward to a really great July," Pliner told the O. "Now we're not going to have a July." [OregonLive]
