Eighty-year-old local drag legend Darcelle (aka Walter Cole) was arrested last night following an altercation with the OLCC: According to reports, Cole, who owns the Darcelle XV nightclub downtown, got into an altercation with Oregon Liquor Control Commission investigators working an operation using underage "cadets," after they charged Cole with serving alcohol to a teenaged minor. The police were called, and Cole was charged with misdemeanor harassment and later released on $3,000 bail. And no, Cole was not in drag at the time of the incident. [KPTV]
