In another example of One Dude Ruining it for Everyone Else, Starbucks has shut down Jonathan's card, the paying-it-forward social experiment linked to Twitter. The reason? Blogger Sam Odio ran a post over the weekend about how he was able game the system in order to collect money off the communal card — $625 in all — and apply it to a personal gift card of his own. Starbucks has deactivated Jonathan's card, citing fraud: A spokesman says they're "sad about it, first and foremost, because we were legitimately cheering on this experiment."
