NORTHWEST INDUSTRIAL: The under-the-radar creative enclave Canvas Art Bar has announced its impending closure two months from now, on October 22. According to the announcement (which also doubles as a closing party invite), the owners are "actively looking for a new space, and hope to reopen in the New Year." [Facebook]

NORTHWEST 23rd: According to liquor license paperwork, a small plates spot called Taste on 23rd is slated to open on NW Johnson and 23rd, in a space that most recently held a clothing store. [OLCC]

NORTHEAST: FoodDude hears rumors of a second Skyline Restaurant slated to open in the former Chez Jose space on NE Broadway. Got more info? Give it here. [PF&D]
