The Oregonian reports on the following intriguing collaboration: Chef Troy MacLarty, an alum of Lovely Hula Hands and currently in the Grain & Gristle kitchen, is teaming with Por Que No's Bryan Steelman to develop a restaurant based on a casual Indian street food concept. According to the O, McLarty's planning a month-long trip to India for research purposes, and is currently scouting locations. He promises: "It's not going to be your typical North Indian cuisine that you see everywhere else in Portland." [OregonLive]
