According to general manager Andrew Finkelman, a chef change-up to report at NE Alberta's Branch Whiskey Bar. Chef Larry Tavernetti, who had manned the kitchen for the past two years, is moving on, and a menu revamp will soon be underway courtesy Portland restaurant alum Scott Shampine, who most recently was chef at Old Town's Davis Street Tavern. According to Finkelman, tonight is Tavernetti's final evening, and Shampine will consult with Branch owner Bruce Kaad "on the transition to a more bar centric, casual menu." [EaterWire]
