Portland food blogger (and prolific freelancer) Kathleen Bauer notes some shrinkage in the Oregonian's food coverage: As of this week, the Tuesday FOODday section has merged with the daily Living section, representing a loss of two full pages of food coverage. In a note to Bauer, FOODday editor Katherine Miller notes that ""this change has been in the works for several months... The move was part of the reorganization of the paper's features staff outlined last Sunday in an editorial by Executive Editor Peter Bhatia. This is also a move that many other newspapers have already made." [Good Stuff NW]
