At last night's NE Killingsworth block party, Eater got word that Mextiza — the second restaurant project by Autentica chef/owner Oswaldo Bibiano — is shooting for a "mid- to late-October opening." During the block party, Bibiano and staff also debuted a few dishes slated to hit the Mextiza menu, like chilorio, pork stewed in a pasilla chile sauce and served on a baguette; and (excuse the editorializing) some seriously amazing mole. More about the Mextiza opening as the date approaches. [EaterWire]
