SELLWOOD-MORELAND: Manao, the Sellwood-straddling Thai spot from former Pok Pok and Ping chef Ekkachai Sakkayasukkalawong, officially makes its debut this evening, after a weekend of soft-opening dinners. Sakkayasukkalawong, known as "Chef Chew," will cook up items like stir-fried salted duck egg, stewed chicken leg, and his own version of his former boss's most famous dish — chicken wings — from 4:30-9:30pm on weekdays (and til 10 on weekends). N. MISSISSIPPI: Another comfort-food option for N. Mississippi bar-goers: Mac! Mac & Cheesery, a gourmet macaroni-and-cheese restaurant, is set to open today near Bar Bar and Uchu. The official website promises unique mac options like white truffle-laced macaroni, green eggs and ham macaroni, and "hot dog mac," in addition to "sandwiches, salads, soups, fried mac and cheese balls and other tasty treats."
