That body of water Sarah Palin named her daughter after, Alaska's Bristol Bay, also happens to be home to some of the world's most productive salmon runs, and a group of Portland restaurant are teaming to help preserve the spot during this week's Dine Out for Bristol Bay. From today (September 19) through Friday, a dozen Portland restaurants — including Bamboo Sushi, Metrovino, Nostrana, Skin & Bones, clarklewis, Mother's, Serratto, and Chef Naoko Bento — will feature a special wild salmon dish on their respective menus, with a portion of proceeds to benefit salmon research.
