OVERLOOK: The Old Gold, a neighborhood bar that counts Portland Mercury music editor Ezra Caraeff as one of its proprietors, has been in build-out mode throughout the summer, and the light at the end of the tunnel emerges: Caraeff and company are shooting for an opening during the week of October 17, "but it might be a bit later."
