EuroTrash Expands; Wafu Goes Late; Killingsworth Block Party

New, 2 comments

DOWNTOWN: Popular SE Belmont cart EuroTrash (which originated in the Good Food Here pod) has announced an upcoming expansion: A second delightfully gaudy Trash cart will soon open in downtown's SW 10th and Washington pod, presumably bringing deep-friend anchovies to the 9 to 5 masses. No projected opening date just yet. [Facebook]

DIVISION/CLINTON: Just a couple weeks after making its debut, Wafu has unveiled its late-night hours and abbreviated menu, featuring late-night-only items kimchi fried rice, dan dan noodles, and Korean fried chicken. Wafu now remains open until midnight Tuesday-Sunday. [EaterWire]

NORTHEAST: As per tradition, the restaurant-filled corner of NE 30th and Killingsworth will throw its third-annual block party, and this year, it's a doozy: The event, scheduled for next Monday, September 12 (from 6-9pm), will feature free food from Yakuza, DOC, and Autentica, as well as newbies to the party Cocotte and Extracto. This year, to entertain crowds as they wait in inevitable lines, live bands will be on-hand to make things more festive. [EaterWire]
