WOODSTOCK: Breakfast in Bridgetown reports that the owners behind popular Southeast breakfast spot Toast have opened an adjacent breakfast-only food cart, adorably titled Yolk. The cart will be parked at SE 48th and Woodstock from 9am-3pm and serve items like hash (a veggie edition featuring summer corn, egg, and avocado; or a meaty version with ground lamb) and breakfast sandwiches. DOWNTOWN: Japanese curry rice restaurant Kale, which moved out of its Goose Hollow digs earlier this year, has finally found a new home: According to an email blast, chef Makoto Yoshino has signed a lease for a mystery space "in the center of downtown," with plans to re-open in November. See plywood up? Hit the tip jar. [EaterWire]

ST. JOHNS: Food Carts Portland reports that St. Johns cart pod Crystal Food Garden, which opened late last summer, has shuttered. No reason for the closure has been given, but former tenants Anya's Thai and Pizza Contadino have moved a block away to N. Charleston and Lombard, in a lot owned by Weir's Cyclery.
