MenuWatch: Vegan Edition


Chef Greg Gourdet, of downtown's sky-high Departure Lounge, announced that he'll now offer guests an entirely vegan menu alongside regular menu options. The 23-item menu (here in .pdf form) offers salad, sushi, and wok-fried items, as well as dishes like gingered mushrooms with parsnip puree and Asian pear; a sweet-and-sour mango golden curry; and bibimbap with kimchi and veggies. "As veg-friendly as our menu already is, it always took a minute to decide on what we could serve vegan guests," Gourdet says. "I realized a whole vegan menu was in order...
